At Bear Soles we design and deliver training in a number of areas, both online and in-person:
During the design phase we work with clients to understand their requirements and then we proceed by:
We have courses ready to go in the following areas:
Topics in more detail below...
We use 2 trainers over 2 or 3 days to enable participants to cover a wider range of presentation topics, tailored to the needs of the group. This can involve presenting from the front of the room, presenting as if using Teams or Zoom and also making a greater impact in meetings.
This course stretches the participants and we video each presentation so participants get pinpointed accurate feedback after each.
The result is that everyone gets on their client's agenda when presenting and practises new techniques to ensure they make a strong emotional and logical connection with their audience.
The overall outcome is that graduates of the course have learnt to make a greater impact on their audience so they can achieve better outcomes for themselves and their business.
Most of us work in teams. The interpersonal dynamics of our teams determines how successful we are and more importantly how happy we are. We spend a lot of our time at work so it makes sense that we invest in making team working as harmonious as possible. When we achieve this it enables us to collaborate more effectively and really achieve greater results.
Critical thinking and the ability to be creative and come up with new ideas is perhaps one of the hardest skills to develop and one of those most prized by employers. New ideas give us the possibility to create advantage by changing the competitive playing field rather than working harder or by reducing costs.
We look at the process of being in charge of people and processes and the means by which we become more effective at doing this. We consider areas such as delegation, goal setting, negotiation, influencing, employee engagement, communication skills, motivation factors, setting clear expectations, listening skills as well as teamwork and collaboration.
It’s common that some of our important business goals are achieved through internal or external stakeholders. Analysing and then consciously managing these relationships enables us to get better outcomes by design.
Our values (and those of our company) are important indicators of behaviour – when colleagues fundamentally disagree at a values level significant conflict can arise. We use this course to uncover values and then enable the use of a conflict management model to consider other ways to respond which give us new choices and hopefully better outcomes for both parties.
Enabling the best from the people that work for us means allowing them to express themselves even when they have a critical message. This means we have to set the stage to enable critical communications that add to our overall mission rather than attack it. This requires to take an honest look at the atmosphere we help create and the way we navigate this using Emotional Intelligence.
